The Texan Cafe & Coffee Shop

The Texan was founded by Ross and Amanda Baker, who moved from the heart of Texas to Washington in 2019. Ross and Amanda have worked in education for over 20 years, but have a passion for food and hospitality. The idea started with catering school and church events and evolved into dreams of a food truck, ultimately leading to the creation of The Texan coffee stand. The success of the coffee stand grew to include a seasonal shave ice stand, a brick-and-mortar cafe in Bothell, catering services, and a mobile food/drink trailer. Now, the Bakers and their two sons, John Ross and Remington, are happy to share their southern roots and hospitality with you.
